Osaka Semba Night Culture

Enjoy the night in Osaka with traditional performing arts and entertainment.

Japanese culture will become a new form of entertainment in Osaka!
A variety of performances and workshops will be held regularly at the event space (SEMBA10 Place) in the Semba Center Building in Honmachi, ranging from traditional performing arts inherited from various parts of Japan to up-and-coming, new-style performances.
Otome Bunraku, Tsugaru Shamisen music, English Rakugo comedy, Japanese drumming, Koto music, lion dance, folk performing arts, etc.

Premium Japanese experience in kimono and yukata.

We offer a “special Japanese cultural experience” that can only be enjoyed at Nagomi.
First, experience traditional culture such as tea ceremony and Genjiko (incense) wearing a kimono or
yukata.
Then, stroll around Osaka’s wonderful spots. (A staff that includes an interpreter will guide you.)
The “Japanese manners guide” will teach you how to perform beautiful Japanese gestures and how to
pose to capture your best memories in photos!
We will be adding more hands-on activities as they become available.

Breathe new life into the good old kimono.

The reality is that many beautiful kimonos made of valuable fabrics and woven with traditional techniques are hidden away in chests these days.
We want to revive these wonderful assets and have many people wear and enjoy them.
With this in mind, Nagomi has partnered with kimono remake artists who have a wealth of experience and a good sense of style to provide a bridge between the reuse of kimonos with precious memories and the display and sale of new works with a new sense of style.
