About Japanese Culture Salon Nagomi

Japanese Culture Salon Nagomi opened in Honmachi, Semba Center Building in 2024.
The word “Nagomi” is written “wa” in Chinese characters.
The spirit of “wa” is the spirit of harmony and mutual respect that lies at the root of the Japanese people,
and is alive and well in all traditional Japanese culture with its long history.
We convey the spirit of “wa” in Japanese traditional culture and the spirit of those who have passed it
down to the next generation to help people understand the original and profound ways to enjoy
Japanese culture and kimonos. We propose as well “new ways to enjoy” Japanese culture and kimonos
that are unique to our era.

“I never knew Japanese culture could be so interesting!”
“I realized that I can enjoy so many things with kimono.”
“My first experience changed me!”

We want to increase the number of people who say this. That is the wish of “Nagomi”.
